Received your PM Linden, I’m glad that you have sourced the connectors from 4 into 1 in the USA...allthough, there are 2 suppliers in the U.K. that stock them

A bit difficult to source all the 'series A' latched and un-latched connectors in the UK...Julie, last time I looked vehicle wiring products no longer stock them.
If you are struggling to find them, PM me ...Alan 48

Thanks for the feedback Simon concerning the new wire harness (1st/2nd images) Much appreciated.
I gather the (4th image) was the original harness before you sent it to me? Alan 50

Hi Clive,
And welcome to the forum. Looking forward to your next project. The CB500 was my 1st choice when I returned to bikes 12 years ago, but a CB750 caught my attention. Thanks for the mention on your last project KH250. Your bought an alternator/points sub-loom from me...alans-electrics. Lots of knowledgeable people on here to help you along the way. Alan 51
Project Board / Re: Kawasaki Heaven« on: December 05, 2019, 11:05:19 AM »
The Hla & H1b had a points ignition system, as the H1.H1d.H1e/f had cdi ignition...all cdi's & wire looms are different on each bike. Not Honda bikes, but all H1 bikes are very popular.

Kawasaki 2 strokes are still very popular today, I'm guess that you have a H1b ?

I have my Classic Motorcycle Mechanics delivered, enjoyed the read, the buyer and his wife (Tracy) had set an initial budget of up to £100K...! well worth the read concerning the other bidders within the auction room.

I would agree with Ash, very long wait to reach the car parks this year. Enjoyed to the show, and well attended.

The CB750 clocks have a 14mm hole for the lamp holders. The CB400 has 12mm holes
There are 2 different sizes of lampholders. 56

Just had a look at my K4, your ‘side stand stop’ on the lower exhaust has not been welded in the correct place. You do however, have the correct side stand for a K5

Your quite right Ash, sold an RD 250 loom this norming, there are no email details on the transaction details, as there used to be 3 + weeks ago.
I have a private eBay a/c. With a bit of info from my son (no interest in bikes) Open the paypal transaction details and click on the 'issue a refund' the page opens with the buyers email address...a refund would not be issued until the page was completed and sent. 58
Project Board / Re: Alternative wiring connectors for multi junctions« on: January 13, 2019, 02:44:42 PM »
Hi Kevin,
The USA models (K3 onward) had a slightly longer indicator stem with a 'tapered' profile (image attached off my bike) Alan 59

Very nice work, you did well to get 2 wires into a 2.8mm terminal.
Excellent detail work on the K4, just curious why the earlier 'k' indicator stems are fitted? Alan 60
CB750 / Re: NEW wiring Loom for UK 750K2« on: January 09, 2019, 10:12:34 PM »
Hi, Definitely not from Swansea! Manchester lad.
The original CB750 loom 32100-300-050 will do the job, but as previous post the UK city/park light requires a bit of attention. The K2 loom part number is different, but this relates to the connector changes (un-latched to latched) I have a CB750 K1,K2 loom on ebay (starting bid @ £59.00) and other CB looms (they have been on the shelf for a year and need to go) ebay name is alans-electrics Thank you for your interest Alan |
