Forgive my ignorance, but I'm assuming he was a much respected member who has passed away? On other forums I know of, highly regarded members have had sections of the forum named after them as a mark of honour.

For example; why not call this section Ralphs Misc/Open Just a thought.

I did see the RIP thread. I think its reasonable to assume someone has died when those initials are used don't you?

Entirely correct cooleronthecoast. Also listed on the right in number of posts chronology as RIP.

Sadly affected by cancer. We lost someone with a unique look at things in general.
