Hi all
has anyone else had trouble fitting the rear wheel on their 550 F1 ? mine is really tight to fit. I have put in new wheel bearings and double checked they are seated all the way in but still need a pry bar to get the last spacer and chain adjuster to fit.
Thanks Phil

Was it ok before you took it out?

Bought the bike dissembled. Its what you call a project !

In that case could be wrong brake plate or spacers they do vary

Or hub or swinging arm ;)
The spacer on the brake plate side is 38mm

Yup and one model had a closed end swing arm that might have different dimensions, can never remember which one tho'

I have the opposite problem, I have too much play. When i bought my F1 it had a series of different size nuts instead of the brake side spacer.
I ordered this part: 42313-323-010 which is too small. I think this is for a K Bike.
I've now ordered this one so I hope it fits! 42313-390-000
I found this in a post on the American site. Might be useful to you.

Closed is a F1 or F2 swinging arm. If the spacer on the drum side is 38mm and the hub and brake plate is correct, then it must be the sprocket side spacer that is too big.
Post some pictures and I can tell you if you have the right hub and brake plate ;)
