Title: It's the simple problems that get you
Post by: JonnyB on October 10, 2006, 02:14:11 PM
I went to the shed yesterday to turn the old girl over, Not ridden her for a week, so I put the key in and \"Nothing\", no Oil light, no neutral light, nothing.

Shit, lift the seat, check the  battery, fully charged, it's one of those odyssey PC310s last for ages - all fine. :)

Check the fuses - all OK :(

Lift the tank to check the looms ground, (Had problems there in the past) No, fine.

Getting desperate now - decided to haul it outside to have a look in the daylight. - Won't budge

!Bing! It's in gear, so I get it into neutral, On comes the Green Light, Take a look at the oil pressure switch and the cable has come off (snapped) Fix that. Push the button and starts first time.

Oh the joys of classic mechanics.
