Just had a look and its a bit far for me at the min but what a great stop for a bike meet, its got the lot.
We need a venue like that down here, Western-Super-Mud is carnage on a Thursday night and I usually avoid it..........and its a crap ride from here too! ;)

The A49/41 Truckstop is always full of bikes at weekends.
I can recommend the breakfasts etc.
Do Fowler's in Bristol still do a bikers night, I remember visiting a couple of years ago,

That's the one off the roundabout next to the dual carriageway?
Big old pub there as well IIRC.
I'm on hols that week, well I'm not (retired) but the missus is so if the 1300 is fixed (new taper rollers being fitted) I'll pop down, the A49 is a nice little knee scratcher.

Interesting video I love the black & red Hondas in the second photo reminds me of my second Honda a 250 below.
Nostagia is a strange thing indeed.

A mate had a red CB72,
and like so many, off came the super quiet silencers
And fitted with a pair of Goldies,
That did sound rorty!!!

Tbh the quietness of the Hondas was something I grew to like - a sort of stealth mode. That said it did replace an Ariel Leader that was far from noisy with the nice swirl of 2T smoke from the rear when accelerating.

Those were the days - I used to look admiringly at the Goldstar silencers in the window of a local motorcycle parts shop - I eventually fitted them to my Triumph 21.
Can't remember the name of ther shop it was just down a narrow alley off the Spot end of Osmaston Road in Derby near Palin's Motorcycles - a brilliant shop that catered for all the popular brands - it might have been Wymans.
For many months they had an unregistered Vincent Black Shaddow in the window that was said to have been a packing case find from Liverpool Docks - it was for sale for what seemed crazy money.
