Title: The Oxford Monster
Post by: Athame57 on May 18, 2023, 05:32:19 PM
The Oxford Monster This is what I keep Elen, the love of my life,  ;)  chained to iron railings with. However sometimes it worries me, even maddens me. :o The lock can sometimes (often) be a complete pain to lock or unlock. Prayers, curses and WD40 have all been tried. I'm scared I'll end up snapping the key sometimes, in the end it always turns, and I'd say 60-70% of the time first time. Have I got a bad example, it has been like this from new five years ago. Anyone with experience to share? 8)

Get some powdered graphite down it WD40 is crap as it goes all gooey making the lock worse. Graphite powder from a tool shop Ted, works brilliantly
