There is a problem with those that was never officialy cured to my knowledge.
If you look closely they pivot on the bolt that goes through the centre which means you can't do it up tight or the swing arm cant move. The original pinches the steel collar that is inside the bushes in the frame by tightening the bolt, the swing arm pivots on the collar and is held sideways by either the flanged bushes or the phenolic thrusts 8121

From aged memory the 750 originals were about 1 inch longer than the 500 but Girling replacements were all the same
