At the time that came out SOH would have been a particular local office, I know HNP is worcester but can't tell you where SOH is. If you find an old AA of RAC handbook they used to list them in the back

Earth cable should go to the large rear engine mounting boly outside the removeable bracket BUT there should be NO paint on the bracket whete it touches the engine OR where the cable sits.
There ought to be an earth wire in the loom goinrg to the coil brackets BUT also there should be no paint where the bracket attaches

Trouble is you need the narrow width as if you use a jubilee type wider one the rubbers don't seal properly

The second picture with the boss and 2 screws came out with the 250N and CX500 if my memory is correct and were supposed to make it easier to adjust the mirrors as the bosses just screwed in solid.
As Oddjob said i don't remember any mirrors being stainless, only chrome(with rust) or black plastic. a favourite mod was pattern kawasaki mirrors as the heads were bigger and the stems longer so you were not looking at your own shoulders!!

I use Copper washers bought for the brake lines on the banjos, or genuine Honda. If you can't get them local i can let you have some copper at cost plus postage.
Not sure what you mean by oil bolt, if it's the drain bolt Honda use a thick alloy washer which is good for several uses and I have not found a decent alternative
