Title: Hendler gasket sets
Post by: JonnyB on October 04, 2020, 03:10:41 PM

Has anyone had experience with Hendler Gasket sets in the past. I've normally used Athena kits in the past.

Fitting a set of valve stem oil seals in a GS500 and all to use have done this.

I don't think I was heavy handed and I do use  a seal push on tool.

Nothing like this has ever happened before

If there is a small washer in the stem seals then, they are old OEM seals on a Honda  ;)

Honda valve stem seals were mostly black in the 70's and then green in the 80's. Don't know about suzuki as, was never a suzuki dealer.

I've been in touch with the guys who sold me the kit and they are going to replace the seals, they've been great to be honest, no mucking a round. I could have got a refund but you can never have too many spares in the cupboard.

So this a big up to Motorcycle Products  https://www.motorcycleproducts.co.uk
