Hondaman's CB750 book is the result of years of experience and work on his part. It is self-published.
You can see it here Search for "My CB750 Book" or click the link in the news panel above. 2898

So when you are on the road and the sign says "Gloucester 44" - do you mentally convert it to km or just know that it is 44 miles?

Bryan - how come your truck is measured in feet and inches but tonnes and ice is measured in inches but distance in km?
That last one got me - the last thing I can think of in metric is distance (that and mpg anyway) I one was told by a gas pump attendant in the USA: "We're going metric - inch by inch" ! 2902

I hate people on eBay who can't spell.
Why use a word like "aquired" if you can't spell it? What's wrong with "bought"? 2905

If you just want black, ask your painter for a good modern gloss black and don't worry too much about paint codes.
As for exhausts, the 650 came with a 4-2 originally so a 4-1 might look a bit naff. The Motad will be cheap and quiet. Marshall Deeptone is a hooligan exhaust. Don't know about the Marvins. 2908

Hi and welcome.
For positive identification, post the frame and engine numbers here. F2 had a black engine but yours may have been swapped for a K-series (some say they were a more robust, if less powerful engine) Just use normal unleaded, these bikes were made for it in the 70's It should have a centrestand - exhaust clearance would not have been an issue as it was designed that way. Take a look underneath and you should be able to see the mountings - then off to eBay! |
