New Member Introductions / Hello. Intro from lurker.

Hello. I have been lurking around on and off this forum for a while now. I thought it’s time I put my backside in to gear and introduce myself, so here goes.
I am 62 years old, been biking since early teens learned to ride on a Lambretta and then a Greeves Scottish, and on the road since 16 starting with a fs1e. Had mainly Japanese bikes, with the odd Triumph, classic and new thrown in there for good measure. Current bike is a Kawasaki Z1000sx.
I have been thrust into the world of SOHC/4 ownership hence joining the forum.
I was left to me off a good friend (whom has passed) his unfinished project of a CB550/4.
It is an American import model, which was verified by David Silver as a 1974 CB550K1, headstock plate dates it 11/74.
I can see it still requires some work/ finishing, it was never intended to be a true as Honda made them resto, just a nice to have tidy classic. It does have some incorrect parts fitted, which some will be changed and some won’t. It starts easily and runs very well up through the gears, so all seems well there.
My first real question is, what exhaust options have we available these days, I don’t really want to go down the 4 into 1 route. Prefer obviously 4 into 4, or 4 into 2 as is fitted at present.
