I get from motor factors via my brothers garage and had couple duds 1 being Iridium which ain’t bad in over 20 years😁 I avoid online buying of anything unless I’m certain seller is honest

Still on subject of plugs am I right saying Nippon Denso plugs were used by Honda as original fitment? I see Nippon Denso plugs are still available,anyone using them instead of NGK?

Lots of fakes around allegedly 😁 I never buy at a/jumbles or Fleabay but use a motor factors but still get the odd dud🙀

I use Peter James and have done for quite a while,modern and classics insured.Might not be the cheapest but hassle free adding bikes etc. 😁

Honda didn’t do paintcodes till mid 1980s did they? Bryan is right that those codes mean nowt😃
I guess if you want exact as per factory you’d need to compare it to an original source I guess Menno has access to such a source? Guy that did mine was shown an image of what I reckoned was correct colour but he then showed me different amounts of metalflake I could have and I chose what I have had done,not factory match but what I want😁

Recall a cancer scare Regards Rocol way back in 80s but formula changed and they retained the horrendous pong too ,I have a tin of Trefolex obtained years ago which I use spareingly when tapping brings back memories of Tech college when doing apprenticeship 😁

Also invest in some decent tapping oil/grease I use Trefolex it smells lovely😁
