Have just rung the Redditch number on Julie’s link for the silencer and spoke to a chap who says they will definitely be having some more silencers in stock in about 6 weeks time. He also said that Brituro in Birmingham are making them. So good news...

Yamiya have them in stock still...but they aren't cheap...about 250€ plus shipping and import duties etc. I wonder if Yamiya bought the jigs from Brituro 🤔🤔🤔

The link on Ebay is to a supplier called BSA 111 that sell the Brituro silencers ( and a lot of other parts for all bikes). Now, I'm not 100% sure what is or has happened to Brituro. They are actually registered as Company Dissolved and have not been seen on Facebook since 2016. I don't know if BSA 111 are / have sold off Brituro old stock and now run out or if BSA 111 have bought the jigs etc abd are now manufacturing them. It may be worth a call to BSA 111 and asking if they are getting any more stock in. Silvers don't make the silencer, they just sell it. It's a Brituro. I and many others have this silencer fitted and they are great. I think you will find Silver is out of stock but here is a link to them for sale in Ebay. Still getting out and about regularly but just using the 250's now. I don't bother posting in out and about every time me/ him / both of us get out or some may get jealous 😀😀😀. Done ok this year really considering the weather hasn't been the greatest, done about 4k each on assorted bikes this year, so not too bad.
Lovely out this morning, albeit a bit chilly.

Someone had this conversation on another forum a few weeks ago and the outcome was that no one makes rubber tipped float valves for any of the SOHC/4 range of Keihin carbs. Personally I have never seen any.

Just to clarify about us not buying any more bikes. This is a joint decision and not me putting my foot down, which for anyone that knows Graham will know that he would take no notice of me anyway 🙄🙄🙄 and if I saw a bike I really, really wanted, I would buy it. We have so many bikes between us, of which over 95% are Honda SOHC/4's and we are not getting any younger, so its all about enjoying the ones we have for as long as we can whilst bearing in mind that eventually we will start selling some off. I sold 2 last year (and then Graham bought another one 🙄🙄🙄) so it will be a slow process getting down to just 2 or 3 bikes each, one of which will be the bike he builds in this thread.
