Title: Looking for a connector block
Post by: Seamus on January 29, 2009, 10:06:26 PM
Still in the throes of dismantling my K1 and have removed the battery tray and other brackets for renovation.
I noticed that I did not have a fuse box  ??? and also that the connecting plug to the rectifier had been removed and the wires soldered together.
Not much chance of buying these seperately without replacing the rectifier and harness. (Both basically OK)
Anyone got these (or either half) lying around that they wish to part with?

Please pm with info. I am happy to pay for them

Cheers

Seamus

Would agree with JonnyB.  Vehicle Wiring products do a handy cataloge/quick delivery
The japanese bullet connnectors and shrouds are very good and look the part on this bike

They are a fractionaly different size, I think the bullets are slightl bigger from memory which makes a good fit into the Honda loom connectors just crimp up the females a bit to make the original bullets fit tight----sounds a bit perverted when i re read that!

Dont forget the 2 and 3/4 way females with shrouds when you order

Thanks all. Any likelehood of them being at the Donnington Classic Bike Show next weekend?

I have to order a fuse holder/box from Dave S nd will sort out the wiring. There is a very good chance that I will strip the bike further to have a good look at the paint on the frame. I will probably have to respray or powder coat.

Thanks again
