CB750 / Holy air screws
« on: July 16, 2017, 09:55:33 AM »
Hi,
I went and bought 4 new air screws, popped them in and totally unable to balance my carbs, so old ones have gone straight back in.
The only difference I can see is that the new ones seem to have a small hole in them half way up the stem...Whats that all about? Have I gone and bought the wrong air screws  ::)

CB750 / Fuel Line
« on: July 03, 2017, 04:58:18 PM »
Hi,
I have a K4 with tank valve that has two feeds and wondered what the internal dia of the fuel line should be, because I heard that fitting a smaller dia fuel line can effectively starve or throttle the carbs of fuel on acceleration? Is this right?

Cheers,

CB750 / MOLY

Hi,
I`ve been on David Silvers web site to order some parts for my K4, and at the top of the list was LiquiMoly 4T Mineral Oil. Has anyone used this and is it any good?

CB750 / Replace or Trickle?
« on: June 26, 2017, 09:45:45 AM »
Hi,
At the moment I tend to have to change my CB750 battery every 12-16 months.... :-[
Used Yuasa, Bosch and others, none seem to last forever.
So I was wondering about using a trickle charger? are they worth it or is it best just to stick with replacing battery's?

Nice one.... ;o)

I`m looking to get my side panels re-sprayed, but I`m having trouble finding the Valley Green Metallic top coat and the Candy Silver basecoat  from anyone in the UK

Any help would be appreciated.

CB750 / Footpeg vibes
« on: July 26, 2015, 02:29:41 PM »
Hello,

I took the old girl out for her first ride this year! Late I know, but shes had some issues.
Anyway, it wasn't a big run, just 50miles and noticed vibration from the foot pegs when motoring around 60mph.
When home I checked all engine / exhaust mounting bolts were secure which they were, so wondered what could be causing this. Never done it before... and wondered if a chain with a 'tight spot' could be the problem? and if so would this replacement chain from DS be ok? http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/part_105899/

Any help would be appreciated.
