Title: clocks ratio

does anyone know the speedo and rev counter ratio,s for a honda cg125 or how to work it out  :'( :'( :'( :'(

Hi Steven,

Until a Tec guru comes up with the figures can I simply suggest you get out on a straight piece of road with a GPS taped to the tank. In each gear hold a steady speed & note the two readings... you'll now have said ratios.

Your speed will be (likely) more accurate than the original speedo gave, and best, independent of tyre size.

Sometimes it is printed on the back of the clock.

thanks gents i,m building a cafe racer for my lad most of the speedos i have looked at say 2.1 ratio but the taco,s say 1.4 or 1.7 i no taco dont matter that much but would be good to get the speedo right  8)
