Bought a seat cover from Bob the seat to go on my American spec 750F. Getting a friend of a friend to fit it but getting it out of box find it’s different to pattern on what I think is the original. So which is the right pattern? And does it realy matter which one my lovely wife says 🙀 Another question is can the Honda Olga be painted on back if so what paint to use? [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

I intend replacing the the fuel tank on my 1975 750 F as the one on it has been welded and looks sh**e,one I intend using has a 16x1.5 mm male thread on as per photo,is this correct? I will stick a new tap on but Silvers want £65 for an F model tap,one off a Superdream will fit at £9.95.Whats special apart from the big price difference? [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Took my 750F out for a spin after fitting the new Delkevic 4-1,not as noisy as I anticipated so good news, runs ok with just few pops/bangs on over run.Carbs leak through overflow could do with clean/balance,Tyres need replacing rear brake better than I expected front brake crap as I expected all electrics work ok,24,000 miles on speedo but no idea if it’s accurite engine fasteners look original,Seat needs recovering/new trim, fuel tank needs repaint, few hours tidying up and I’ll have a nice bike for the summer.Still want a K7 so not sure if I’ll hang on to it for long

Hoping for some advice regarding what to pay for a decent loooking rideable CB750K7? Ones I’ve seen and sold have sold for less than the more desirable K models,am I right in thinking this is so? I know of one coming up for sale with a brand new 4into4 exhaust system ( Thought they were unobtainabl? ) Don’t know the asking price yet.
