Title: Steering Damper CB550
Post by: hunterso on May 08, 2014, 12:06:00 PM
I would like to fit a steering damper to my bike - anyone else fitted one?

There seems to be a lot of different sizes out there - stroke length, body length etc

Anyone got any recommendations on suppliers or specific sizes etc

Thanks

My 500/4 had one when I bought it which may get re fitted. Not sure if the mounting method or type would suit other 500/4 though ad money is fitted with a sidecar.  My dad felt it was better for being fitted. I couldn't tell the difference with it missing when it came off.

Hi , I tried these

GSXR fits, but not pretty

[attach=1][attach=2]

NHK ODM 500 looks better , just clears engine at full lock

[attach=3][attach=4]

Hardest thing to come by was a 30mm frame clamp
