Title: What about Honda cb125 twin 1977

Helio mates, I need information about cb125 twin from 1977......"good" bike? Trash? any problem with that model?

That'[s the wire wheeled version of the 125 Twin. I had the T2 version with comstars, cracking little bike! 12,000rpm red line, and we used to take them to 13,000rpm through every gear once they were run in, they thrived on it, and sounded great. 85 mph was easily achieved on them, 80+ even with a passenger. Would certainly have another if I was in the market for a small twin, 17bhp and 90 mpg (32km/litre)  It is very important to let the engine warm up properly before thrashing it, otherwise the rings can shatter (common to many 70's Honda twins) and the 6volt electrics mean crap headlight, but great little bikes. Oh, and the cable operated front disc can seize if not regularly maintained, but generally very reliable.

If they do need work seem to remember that the duplex,tight, camchain makes them a bugger to work on
