I have every intention of going but I am in the South of France at the moment and heading into the Pyranees shortly and don’t think I will have any signal where I am going . Back on 29th so any arrangements please include me. Life can be tough.

A cunning ploy by Ducati to sell panels and mirrors. They have nearly caught me out a time or two

Has anyone got a tried and tested method of tightening the ball joint on the mirror end. Mine seems to want to adjust itself over 90mph.

Called in at Squires on the way home, it looked like the CBX1000 owners were having a meet up. A few others I hadn't seen there before as well. Most innovative side stand of the year goes to [ Guests cannot view attachments ] A couple more [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ] And something I have never seen before. I think a Rumi Formichino 125 twin [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

See my comments above. I'm glad it's worked for you but you'll be getting the iron out again before long.
Time will tell on that one. As mine has been fine now for nearly 3 years and the tank is in regular use, how long are you giving it before I have to get the iron out again.

If it is just underneath they are easy to solder up, as long as you have a big iron to do it. I had to do mine nearly 3 years ago and it has been fine. I have also done others since and all have been good, and it doesn't damage the upper paint work; I did this tank on this bike only 3 weeks after the whole bike was painted. He didn't expect to get away with not having to have it painted again.

For what its worth- my 400/4 stinks and always has done when its been for a run. i usually leave it outside the garage to cool down before I put it back in. Ive never given it a second-thought as its 40 years old. I may be wrong but it runs fine. Ive owned this one for nearly 9 years now. Just failed its MOT on front tyre crack- I didnt spot it! Roll on next week for new tyre and re-test. it will be its last MOT.
Is that wise if you cant spot a cracked tyre.
