It is regret that I have to report that I have sold my 400-4 so I would like to say thankyou for all the advice and help that you have given me. I am now looking for a Yamaha Virago which I understand has a lower saddle that I might be able to get my leg over. Safe Riding Tom.

Hi I have tried to include pics in my advert but it says I am using too much memory.
If you want to tell me how to do this or give me your email address and I will send you some.
Cheers Tom

Due to old age I have decided to sell my 400-4. It is in Very Good Condition as the last owner did a excellant total nuts and bolts rebuild.
I am asking 4,500 pounds and viewers are welcome.

CB350/400 / Side Stand
« on: August 06, 2022, 04:07:52 PM »
Hi I have had a problem with my hips stopping me from getting on my 400-4 and I wondered if the side stand was shorter then this would make the bike a bit lower to get on.
Does anyone know if another models stand is shorter and would fit my bike.
Thanks for reading Tom

Thanks for your suggestions. I bought the bike a short time ago so I am thinking that I will take the tank off and check carbs etc for any thing that doesnt seem correct.

Thanks Tom

Hi,
First ride out this year and the bike ran fine until 10 miles or so, then it felt as if the engine would not go back to tickover.
I am guessing that carbs are sticking perhaps due to getting hot.

Any suggestions of how to correct this?

Cheers Tom
