I'm soon to acquire a new petrol tank and side panels and also the decals for my red CB400F2. I want of course to get them painted and decals fitted, what I want to find out is a good place to get the work done in greater London ....suggestions?

I had exactly the same problem with my CB400F2 from the moment I acquired her. First gear selected ok until the engine warmed up after a few minutes then nearly impossible. All other gears were unaffected. I imagined I had a crank splitting job ahead of me. Then I discovered that simply by adjusting the gear shift lever a little had the problem solved!

I'm soon to lift the rocker cover on my CB400F2 for polishing and have purchased a new gasket/packing for it ahead of that. I see it is of the rubber tube type that will fit into a groove. Do I need any sealant for this item. I have Loctite Flange sealant MR5922 handy.

I just had my CB400F2 serviced and now I've noticed one of the inside downtubes/Header pipes is showing signs of tarnishing a bit, the others not....your thoughts?

For cosmetic reasons I bought new handlebars from David Silver Spares, they have all the holes you speak of but are lower and shorter than the OE bars, mirrors do not work as good and brake hose is a tight fit.

I just got a black metal number plate through the post for my CB400F2 and stuff the law lol. But it's got no fittings, is this going to be difficult or is there an easy way? My bike is at this time in a workshop having things done...
