I think that's the reason for the R turn stiffness. I'm not sure how it affects the swing to the left

I've just checked the steering. From neutral position theirs drop all the way round to the left. Extreme to the right its a little stiff at the end of the range.

What should do please.

CB350/400 / fuel cap.
« on: May 04, 2019, 08:27:20 AM »
I have just had my fuel cap re chromed. Looks great and I have the rivets to reattach it. Is a special tool required? The original was replaced by a bolt which looked shoddy. The rivet / pin was ordered from Silver and seems to just need a light punch on the end.
Any advice how to proceed please.

Hello everyone.
I've removed my front wheel to investigate. Pads are good. bearings seem to be ok but how can I be sure? I noticed that with the wheel off the forks will rotate independent of each other . Is that correct. I always imagined that they would stay in the alignment they are in when the wheel is in place.

I'm pretty sure that I know. Stain on white plate and drip visible over join of the 2 parts

Apologies is I seem to be bothering you. Will I need to drain the oil to do this job? I know I should know this but don't.

PS My wife is coming back from Australia later today. I've made a mistake and thought she was coming back tomorrow. I have organised a footy party tonight . 8 of us eating, drinking and watching the Barcelona v Spurs match. Do you know a good divorce solicitor???
Ricardo
PS I found the vacuum cleaner and learned how to work the dishwasher. just in time for the party!

Dear all.

More help  please. I recently changed oil , oil filter etc. New plug . I put a white surface under to check that there were no leaks. After a few weeks I noticed few drops of oil. It appears to be coming from the seal on the dynamo cover. I happen to have a spare but I was a little concerned about why oil should be coming from an area containing electrical components??

Any thoughts please.

Ricardo.
PS to Julie I haven't yet got round to that plug thing you advised me about  The current Mrs Ricardo has been away and I've had to feed myself which is quite time consuming. What shall I do now. The freezer is empty and I can't find the hoover????
