Hi. I've removed the oil filter cover to replace the oil filter. As you do!! The bolt I notice has a spring and piston mechanism within. How can I check this is functioning properly. Why do I want to know this Imhear you all say in unison! Well the bike came with a bolt on oil cooler. Reason not known but previous owner doesn't know why as these bikes did not have a reputation for overheating he said. I removed this at the same time as it looks bog ugly. Is it possible that this bolt mechanism was not working and that is why someone added the oil cooler? That it why I want to find out if the parts work before I refit the filter and top up oil etc.

I have some breather tubes available following my carb refurb. Also a length of fuel pipe. The ones delivered were seriously too long. a bit of a waste really. Free to anyone just send me your address and I'll send them Ricardo

Does it matter that these fuses which you have mentioned are for 250v??

I found the perfect solution. Hold the hand grips with the opposite hands. This places the elbows directly in front of your body. It takes a few falls to get used to the new handling but works a treat.

What do you advise Matron. Assuming it doesn't hurt.

Hi all.
I want to buy a set of fuses of various amps. I can only get single ones from David Silver. Any suggestions?

I've got a honda 400-4 fuel tank. I have stripped it and it has a few dents as you can see filled. I have bought a new one in primer so I don't need this one. Free to anyone who wants it. Doesn't leak . I have derusted the inside but as expected there is a slight film returned. text me on 07835209272

Hi all esp Matron. My wheels are black Should I get them dipped and stripped or should I assume that they were blackened as the chrome underneath was rusty.

Hi All esp Nurse Julie.
It was just a general strip down. It's newly acquired and had very poor power at low revs so I thought I'd service fuel system . I took the cam cover off as there was an oil leak- very minor- from the seal. It turns out it was from the breather cover seal. the other stuff was noticed then. I've replaced the new cam cover and things turn over fine. Petrol tank off for respray so I'll fit the electronic ignition and check the sparks before feeding it petrol over the next few days.
Thanks
