Just starting work on a CB500 Four I have owned since about 1980 but which has been off the road for about the last 25 yrs. Could anyone please help with the model number so I can order required parts. Is this what is now known as K0? First registered in 1972, the chassis number is 1035XXX, the engine number 1035XXX, colour black as per V5C and was black when I bought it in 1980. I have always known it as purely CB500 Four - no recollection of K anything but parts lists now seem to use designation K0 if I'm not mistaken. Seems to be described as 'general export' model rather than 'England' model in one of the parts lists I've read. I would appreciate any guidance.

Interesting stuff. Did not know there was so many little changes. Don't uppose there is an English translation?
Anyone know the diameter of the K0 front reflectors?

Also the chamber, cleaner attached to the air box had the drain tube in the middle on the early K0 and the drain tube was on the right on the K1. Same part number but, different part ;)
Two hooks Oddjob ? Nope there is only one ;)

The K0 had different headlight brackets and the thread on the reflectors is 5mm and a OD of 40mm. Were as the K1 has a 6mm thread and a OD of 57mm ;)

Well you could count the helmet hook on the lock part.
