A few more pics A CR750 once owned by Bill Smith, unfortunately it didn't take to the track due to a lack of sparks. Of technical interest a velocipede with two Ariel engines mounted side by side. RC174 replica built by George Beale

If anyone has a set of 4 into 4 exhausts on their CB350f can you please tell me if the side stand spring touches the No.1 exhaust pipe when the stand is retracted. Mine does, but I'm sure its not supposed to do that.

Just been reading through the regulations (terms and conditions and noted the following; All vehicles must be covered by valid third-party insurance to the level of £5 million, without restriction, and this must cover all passengers or pillion passengers. Err, seems a bit of an overkill, but do common or garden motorcycle insurance policies cover this or does one have to seek further insurance. If it's the latter then I cant see I'll be going. Insurance companies take enough of my money as it is.

Have just looked at David Silver's website, and he is having a 50th anniversary open day at Leiston on Sat. 28th September. Free entry to the museum, refreshments, and music to suit, plus you can enter for "Best This or That" for each capacity model. Y'know, with a bit of luck, we could fill Leiston to overflowing!!! Regards, Mick.
I may be wrong but wasn't that September 2018?
Nope. Having displayed my CR750 last year I've an invite to attend this year's event from Roger Etcell. Not sure if I'll take the CR750 again, but I may take the CB350f instead. Eric

Got mine on eBay.
All I could find on eBay were Kawasaki (Z900) ones. However, numbers arrived from Piki yesterday, which I would highly recommend to anyone. Superb quality and service. Thanks to Julie for pointing me in his direction. Eric

Easy to do. I followed Ash's instructions with just a slight variation. I first filed a flat on the coil above the lead and then used a sharp chisel to gouge out the plastic above the lead. I kept digging until all the lead was exposed right back to the metal pillar to which the lead is attached. A Dremel with various burrs helps. I removed the old lead completely. You should now have a trough into which the new lead will be inserted. I then drilled a 1.5mm hole in the pillar. I used new silicone leads into which I inserted a short length of 1.5mm copper wire into one end leaving about 15mm protruding from the end, this is then inserted into the pillar and soldered up with the lead fitting snugly in the trough. A bit of araldite to seal the join and leave to set. I left mine overnight. Then I used black Milliput to finally seal in the lead and once set filed to the original shape. Eric

Does anyone know of a source for these? White numbers on a black background. Presumably Mr Honda used the same style of font for all models.

Rather damaged period tat by the look of it. I must confess though that I had a set many moons ago. Is that a crack in cam cover I see?
