Very tidy, looks to be a nice job in bringing another one back into use.
Starts to feel better as you get toward the finish line I guess.

I'd agree with above for all general usage.
These combustion chambers where designed right from the outset to run on such variable fuel around the world. They have no real specific requirements for "special" technical enhancement of fuel. Most fuel nowadays is much more consistent supply than it used to be, plus turnover at filling stations is much faster.
Storage of fuel systems for much more than a couple of months and you may look at it differently to avoid gumming etc.

On the underside of the mudguard, we discussed recently as to how it can be protected.
Oddjob was doing an original to help conserve it, and ended up with zinc heavy paint as I recall.
I've never thought "underseal" was for protection of metal and to prevent rusting. It's just to protect the paint from being chipped and breaches occurring in the protection that offers. Any mild steel on old cars that's just been coated with straight underseal always rusts like hell in my experience.
Most effective appears to be zinc heavy painting, and maybe something like coated with silver hammerite to give something of a waterproofing in that underside of mudguard area.
Thread is somewhere but couldn't find.

Nice when you get them out and they start ok, certainly good weather for it today.
The side panel lugs, I use silicone grease from plumbing supplies on them. It doesn't dry out and they usually just easily pass through the grommet.
To glue them, you can try some of the solvent type plumbers also sell for "polypipe" installation. If you rub a small amount on a discreet part of the rear surface of side panel, it'll show if it'll bond that material.

Nice TR there, thought I recognised the location. Parked in that spot a few times too.
I think the Triumph range of cars has a higher percentage of interesting/collectable models than almost any other normal manufacturer. With TR, Spitfire, GT6, Vitesse, Stag, Dolomite Sprint etc. All very interesting.

So many films use bikes for indirectly signalling character, maverick etc for their actors.

Always thought they were fantastic looking aircraft.
Have made a few when apprentice, 3D milled out of billet blocks of Duralumin then hand finished to remove contours. Usually given away to visiting dignitaries and various VIP that came around.
Wish I'd been able to keep one.

Recently looking at a car for my niece, turned out to be a insurance cat classification as uneconomical to repair, and so could legitimately be back on the road.
Both licensing and insurance said they'd want to see it through genuine MOT procedures to ascertain that it's not a ringer, effectively.
So it seems to at least confirm the existence of numbers through third party view that may assist in completing documentation.
Also speaking to a local MOT centre that does work for dvsa, he confirmed the same.

Picking up on what Rob has said there, about poor earth.
Try running it in the dark with lights off, then turn the indicators on. Look carefully to see if you have any glowing in other (non indicator) lights.
If you can see anything it would confirm the indicators are not fully earthed. They will try to track out on any other available earth route to establish a circuit.
If you've ever seen cars with all of the rear light cluster flashing dimly when indicating, that's a good illustration.
Check effectiveness of main battery earth too.

Yes, aided by a good supply of salt solution from winter roads.
Pretty strong bond it makes too!
I use SDS hammer drill to get things like this to release, as Julie says though, you have to be veeeeery careful to support the cases to avoid damage to the casting.
If you used a steel pipe with a flange on it to place over the stud, then support that pipe, the loading is not taken by the cases so you can attempt to drift it out.
The advantage of a percussion hammer effect is to use much smaller but insistent blows. It usually starts with the aluminium powder coming out first, so you can see it's agitating it. It's will take time to gently persuade it to move.
