Picked this bike up in Japan, Its a Meguro k1 1962, copy of the BSA A7 500cc.

Hope your not going to restore it too new condition you can't get that patiner out of a can! Just wash and wax keep it in running order.

I wouldnt even wash & wax it but just make her running and save to ride.

Gave it a good clean, had to paint the tank, drained the sump, cleaned plugs points etc, started easy, runs well, all lights etc work, has a mot now and a uk reg number.
this bike is the forerunner of the Kawasaki w1.

Love the Dream, is it a runner?  Does the Meguro leak oil like a true copy of the BSA should do?

Dream 4e is a runner, has a uk reg number now, the Meguro is leaking a drop of oil, due to the sump gasket, but i have made a couple now.
