Title: CBR600FS1 (2002) Rear Wheel Needed
Post by: SteveD CB500K0 on March 14, 2016, 08:59:21 AM
Long story short, my daughter's partner came off his CBR last week and the rear wheel is buckled.

I can't find a part number anywhere, just a couple of listings on eBay at £150-200

Any internet warrior out there who can find a art number for me?

Ta

Steve,
This says it is for a 2002 model although the model part says F4A. Any help?

Thanks.

That looks the same as the picture on cmnsl.com - but it doesn't break down the rear wheel subassembly.

I was looking for just the wheel.

... although looking at it, I do need the bearings etc so maybe off to search for one of them!

I guess maybe Honda never made a 'bare' wheel available, only the 'sub-assembly' (which only looks to be the wheel with bearings already fitted, which would otherwise need to be fitted anyway).

True.

I'm not convinced that a low-side on a wet/muddy road would buckle the rear wheel to be honest.
I will wait until the wrecked generator cover is replaced and replacement oil "fitted" before making a call on the wheel.

Thanks for your help.
