Has anybody got Classic bike breakdown cover and if so which company do you use.
I want it for my 76 550 f1 supersport but can't get any cover off the big companies because of the age of the bike.

Hi I've been having problems with a sticking slide so I am rebuilding the carbs and when I have removed the linkages one of the little trumpets that sit inside the spring and drops into the connecting arm is missing , it's above the spring in the picture.
Please can anyone tell me where I can source this part or has anyone got one that I can buy.
The rebuild kit mixture screw is different to the original as it has a solid shaft,whereas the original is drilled up the center and has a hole in the shift, should I refit the original.?

Has anyone had a problem with an oil leak from the cam chain tensioner bolt.
I have replaced the seal and the tensioner is new.
Has anyone used an o ring instead of the flat Honda seal

Can anyone tell me what style of number plate would have been fitted on a bike registered in 1976.
Would it have been a pressed aluminium or plastic.

New master cylinder and new seal on caliper the pads are adjusted as per manual but I don't think the brake is very good.
I have bled the system with no problem several times but there is about 1.75 inch travel on lever and it just doesn't feel very sharp.
I ride a modern bike with dual discs am I expecting too much of the Honda brake.

Can anyone tell me if the engine needs to be running for the head and tail lights to come on or should they work off the battery.

Hi
Going through things after a full rebuild and I've got a front indicator problem. The indicators come on with the ignition and stay on which is correct but do not flash, they have the same bulb fitted as the rear indicators which are single filament, am I correct in thinking that the front bulbs should be double filament.

Hi
Can anyone confirm that I have fitted my Rocker shafts correctly.
I have fitted both the inner and outer shafts with the threaded ends of the shafts facing outwards towards the end caps, is this correct.
