Have you thought it could be the gearbox stuck???  My brother bought a cb550 with a "seized engine " Turned out something in the gearbox let loose [ can't remember what ] and jammed the gears and broke a few teeth Try pulling in the clutch  and using the kickstart  If the kickstart don't move its the gearbox If it does move more than likely engine  Good luck   R

I thought the loop was introduced to mount the footrests for a more comfortable ride for pillion riders  Looks like Andys loop is only to hold the silencer?? Ross

looking at Andys photos there doesn't seem to be a provision for a footrest on the loop So must be earlier than the f2  Plus the angle of the loop is different to to the f2 bolt through loops The bottom tube of the loop of bolt through runs parallel to silencer where as the welded loop has to have the welded bracket to obtain a parallel run to hold the silencer IMO  Ross

Thanks Mick   By the response I've had,  they can't be popular.  I know the subject was mentioned before but nobody actually rated them as good or bad quality Hence my question ??  But at least you've tried them and seem to be ok  Have you had the bike running yet ? Still with the saving in price i may give them a go after all its not going to be a daily rider  again thanks
