Hi Sprocket,

I've stripped my Honda down over this year and took a picture or two.

I'm more than happy to send them all to you on a CD. They prove useful.

PM your address and i'll post.

I cant afford to get the bike to 'as mr Honda made' condition but I do intend to get it to look like it is from a showroom. I'll go with the solid bar and be done with it  ;D

It could be the camchain shaving lumps off the camchain tunnel.   What does the engine sound like?

I never had it running, it turned over fine and it tried to start.

Hi

I took the sump off today so I could final remove the engine from the frame. I found these little buggers in the oil pick u filter. Does this mean a full engine rebuild?

Looks superb, it only spurs me on to get cracking on with my little 400 (same colour)

thanks nurse Julie.

see the picture of one fork tube, it has some deep marks in it. Do you think they will polish out or do they need filling first with???? and then polished.

I've tried uploading an image but I get an error (it meets the criteria)

all off now.

first issue is one bottom fork leg bolt is spinning around. any solutions out there? (don't forget i'm a newbie to this restoring/heartache lark)

The other fork leg is tripped but the bottom for is badly marked. I tried soem wet n dry. Question is do i continue with wet n dry or take it to some polishing firm?
