« on: February 21, 2018, 06:26:20 PM »
Hi,

just pulled the long bush from the swing arm, looks corroded. Is this still serviceable?

by the way, I bought the bronze bushes from two wheels Frank

The stuff I emptied of the tank isn't black yet, hence why I'm using it again, as an experiment. I have the air filter holder in which probably needs replacing but I'm interested to see the difference.

the 'after' shot. I let it soak 2 days ;D

that deox-c worked really well. I'm trying an experiment with the remainder, got a bucket of it mixed, dunked in a couple of rusty parts.

Deox-C ordered. Is it crime once I've used this to pour some engine oil and swill it around for storage. I can wash it out later with petrol

Hi,

might be a daft question. I'm stripping my Honda down, I pulled the swing arm bolt out and I expected the swing arm to fall to the ground. It didn't fall out  :o, I gave it a wiggle but it wont dropped down. Have I missed something or do I need to persuade it out?

thanks in advance

Hi, just thought I should tell you that I'm here as I bought a 1997 Honda cb400 to restore. This will be my first attempt hence why I joined this great community.

I'll be in touch when I start in earnest next year. I've got some work to do on my TL1000 so first  :D
