Hi, been in my workshop (all be it very briefly) still working on the Honda. I'm now needing to get my carbs back from my friend who has washed them in the sonic bath.

Next jobs are

Fit tyres and get them checked by local dealer (spokes and balancing)
Front brake installation (need parts)
Idiot lights and clock refurbish (finish this job off)
New seat and parts
Vapour blast engine case
Start building bottom end

Walk the Jack Russell!

Hi,

thought i would fit the idiot lights but the holes don't match. Its not the original as I bought this a year or more ago, The hole centre on the bracket is 45mm where the hole centre on the lights is 50mm???

Wrong idiot light cluster?

great idea, I might just steak that. I don't have a lathe and probably the easiest way for me to do the repair

Hi amx1992

post look good, think i will try JB Weld Steel stick once i get to rebuilding them.

I stripped the carbs further tonight, just that one tank float pin to get out...grrrrrrrrrrr

Though they look they are just chucked in a cutlery draw, they are all in order ;D

Thanks for all the good information. So.........................started to strip them, got all the pins out finally but founds one carb has had a dodgy repair. Do I stick with it and use something like JB weld or source another carb body (guess might be difficult)

How far do I strip them. I've got them this far (Please pics)
