Title: Tyre fitter West Midlands
Post by: 71 V12 on May 07, 2017, 10:47:33 PM
Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good tyre fitter in anywhere around the West Midlands that won't destroy my newly chromed respoked wheels?

Many thanks,

Kevin

I live in the very west Midlands, the guys that built my wheels and fitted the tyres made a great job,
but,
why don't you try Central wheel at Coleshill, near the airport, they may help,

if you want details of my supplier, let me know

Any motor cycle shop should be able to fit tyres using rim protectors or as I do, wrap insulating tape around the tyre levers.

Very 'old school' Graham! I would  have thought you would have some fancy tool for that

Maybe, but if it works why spend out money on plastic rim protectors, which always seem to disappear into the Bermuda Triangle when you need them? (Rather like feeler gauges do!)

Thanks for the replies. Central wheels built my wheels but their prices for Conti RB2/K112's is not competitive compared to online dealers.

So looking for fitter that will fit tyres, tubes that I supply.

John, if your supplier will do this I would appreciate their contact details.

Cheers,

Kevin
