So this weekend I was off to my mates camp out. I left Friday around 1:30pm as I had a 2 .5hr ride

An uneventful ride later and I was there

My mate Pete was already there with his BSA 3 Wheeler but in true Top Gear style "I was the first to arrive" ;D.
The canvas cell was soon up and the kettle was on

After yarn telling and lie swapping it soon time for dinner so we adjourned to the pub. They had a great ale called A taste of Spring and in the cause of research to ensure you all got a good idea what it was like I sampled......a few!! ;D
While we researching ;) my pal LJ arrived with his BSA M21

So a good night was had by all
In the morning it was primus stove fettling time for most of the lads. I use gas as it's much easier but this morning I was mostly cooking bacon and sausage on a disposable barbeque :D. These primus's are all very old. Pete had one made in 1911 and once it was going it was brilliant.

After brekkies it time for the road run out, Ian had to leave as he had a phone call telling him some scrote had set his van on fire.
The Lincolnshire wolds really is a nice place for a run out we stopped at Wragby for a beer.......I mean lunch

We rode some tiny roads with either deep gravel up the middle or grass. It was great

I'm not sure which link will work but one should. The banging noise you can hear is Bryans loud pipe on his Enfield

It was then back to camp to chill out for a while. I indulged myself with greek coffee and a book

Pizza delivery WW2 style. We all then foresaw that in the future pizza will be delivered by small boys on scooters fitted with huge topboxes!! ;D
We all left early this morning as some were going to Newark Autojumble. We had a great time this weekend and I'm thinking of doing a SOHC one next year so you'll have no excuse.

Velocette Viper?
Isn't that one of those bikes that sell for a squintillion
-
Well now, That Viper is lovely and has certain Venom parts inserted into it.
It goes like stink.
Plus its worth loads as it's nicely patinated

Great post. I love the number plate on the Enfield!
