Weren't the blue one's and subsequent white Nortons JPN as in plain John Player Norton.
They were pretty quick with Mr Williams and Mr Croxford on them.
Croxford was a real character. The Norton’s there were just the end of an era. Very old technology right at the end of very old development and very little money by Japanese standards. Honda were building little six cylinder Swiss watches with huge budgets and crushing them afterwards and the Commando was really designed a full generation before.

Brian Crighton changed the game there for a bit with some very good riders but they were outlawed pretty quick. And the JPS 750's before that. Cost and lack of money on a very old design

So what’s a realistic price for a Z1, K0 or sandcast in UK?
Not sure about sandcasts as I’m not looking to buy one but an awful lot of very poor Z’s are selling for silly money.

I will be looking at a Z900 A4 hopefully in the New Year (as thats the one I had back in the day) if my better half allows but I just wonder how these prices will hold up in the fullness of time when those of us at a certain age group move on. Will they still be in such demand with the younger generations in such numbers I wonder?
