Just bought a "intelligent" battery charger from Lidl and initially amazed at the quality of the device.
Will charge both 6v/12v with range for both bike and car capacity batteries, does the normal stuff like pulse start to desulphate and will sit in monitor mode to pick up if the voltage drops.
Also if the vehicle is started while attached then it's digital volt readout shows the alternator charge rate.
The connect clips can be removed without tools to leave two loop connectors that can be fixed to bike battery terminals via bolts (you could cut the leads and connect with a double pole plug to leave a small easy connect loom on a bike).
It seems to be made of really good materials and they sell for £12.99
I put it on here because alot of people have sporadic use bikes and these things don't seem to be in stock for long.....I'm off to pick up a couple more for friends.

I know there have been some battery discusions here but would like any suggestions of what to use i.e. gell type etc from someone who has fitted any types recently.
Just a standard size battery for K2-750 I'm after so if you have had a good experience in buying more recently and good performance I'd appreciate it if you can post it for me.

Google just plain 750 4 and turn options to images only, there's all sorts of odds and ends that may not come up in others searches.

Has anyone seen the current issue of "classic motrocycle mechanics" with 2 Suzuki 750 on the cover?
It's got a good bit inside about Honda RCB endurance racers. These were built from SOHC 750 base and represent the final most advanced research that Honda did on this motor I believe.
It was built with a DOHC top end but you can still see the origins of the crankcases etc in the photos, it even shows the conversion of the primary drive to gear type inside in one pic.
After this they were moved to CB900 basis as the race regs changed to allow only production based motors and this head / barrels etc had no street equal.
The nearest thing for the road that seems closest to this hybrid was the CBX750 that has gear primary, narrow angle 16 valve head, alternator on top of gearbox and even a slipper clutch as standard.
It's worth a look to see where the original 750-4 got to.

Has anyone practical advice about shipping a bike to the USA?
Mainly about crating up, no fluids etc, how to pick up from domestic site once crated (no forklift) any advice about shipping companies.

Think it's a two stroke "blue haze" day at the Ace so worth a trip out maybe.
I'll probably visit late morning if anyone else is going to go there.
I know it's not SOHC stuff but quite often something turns up, also quite a few of us have a two-smoke interest as well.

Hi all, just joined up as I have a couple of 750 Ks. Went to 70's day at Ace Cafe and met Pete (I think) from sidcup who suggested I join. looks like good place to get info for these bikes, looking forward to discussios.
