Just wondering!
You started this, so what's your story ??
OK. I began in 1982 with an awful company called Olympic where I spent more time on the pavement than a pigeon, I moved over to 'Hotline' soon got the sack, then 'Ambassador' and then 'Delta' where I started to get good. I moved on to a roguish little firm called 'Falcon' great lads (& Lasses') ..oh, forgot my flirtation with 'Professional couriers' and 'Express'....dispatch is a job where you can change horse three times in a day. I also rode with Addison Lee a while and ...gawd there's loads. The best company though was GLC (Greater London Couriers) with their 25% attendance bonus and no advertising their jobs...word of mouth! I rode a gaggle of CB250 RS's one reached 77,000 miles. A CB250 wet dream, a GT380 (got me nicked) A z400J..came off at 70mph and never hurt myself, came off again at about 15 mph and thought I'd bust my leg. I did get a ban for 6 months and knew most of the Police station cells from being arrested non payment of fines lol. I couldn't resist turning up now and then on my RG500s. I quit the job in 1991.

Yep, both should be satin black, PJI make a good black satin but it requires curing at 100c, OK for the brake caliper but I wouldn't use it on the clocks unless you have stripped them down.
Is it ok to use normal paint on the caliper?

I'm going to paint the clocks and the front brake calipers of my CB400F2...it's clear someone has done this before and not too well. They are gloss just now but I suspect it should be satin?

I love the 're-engineered seat with unique piping'
Who was selling it....Major Bumsore or farmer Giles?

I've bought a spray can of engine paint for my CB400F2. On the can it says 'dries at ambient temperatures and resistant to 180 degrees centigrade. Is that good enough? My oven gets hotter than that, I've got cold feet!

As you have bought the lock you will not need all of the parts just the pins and spring, one to attach the cap along with spring to tank and the other to locate under the catch when cap is shut, piece of piss job.
I found out....I've got a spare latch now!

Has anyone fitted a new tank cap to a new fuel tank? I ordered both items from DSS but there are no instructions, it's in more parts than an airfix model and I'm snookered!

I reckon some slitty eyed git on the assembly line damaged the mould and then filed these little grooves in to cover it up and hope people will think that's the way it's meant to be!
