Title: Uk spec handle bars
Post by: Corascate on April 18, 2020, 11:32:15 AM
Hi all
My us spec 750 k7 has aftermarket handlebars on with no wiring guides (through the handles)
Will the handle bars from an earlier model (k0-k4)fit then I can feed the wires through the bars and tidy it up.
Also anybody know where I can get the front Honda name emblem for between the forks, I have seen the trims but not the name.
Please be patient as my computer skills are a tiny bit above non existent,,especially the damn spell check/corrector
Cheers
Steve

I seem to recall that the UK version of the K7 had external wiring as well, due to the fact multi plus are used for the connections rather than bullet connectors like the previous models had. It COULD be modified, but it would mean a lot of messing about cutting the multiplugs off the switchgear and wiring loom in the headlight and replacing them with bullet connectors (not cheap).

For the Emblem CMSNL is probably your best bet to find the part number then put number into google

Correct Mr Hairy, all K's up to and including K6 were all internal wiring with bullets, from K7 onwards, external wiring with plug connectors.

Thanks for all the replies. Makes sense as I never checked the connections till now.
Is hitting the reply button the correct way of responding to posts?
If I want to reply to individuals what and how do I do it, like I said I’m not that good at computers.
When I learn how to reply and post pics then I will most likely suffer from delusions of adequacy.

If you just want to reply Steve, yes, just push the reply button. If you want to quote someone elses post, click the 'quote' button, a text box will open with that post in it and you can type your reply at the bottom of their post after where it says quote, as I have just done with my reply to your post. Hope this helps.
