Cheers oddjob
The grey wire I hadn’t even got that far but it will save me asking later the black and red comes out of the loom .
When I got the bike a couple of months ago the prior owner said if you tried to start it , it blew a fuse and so he bypassed the regulator. I changed the regulator and can only assume it was done at time of bypass.
I know very little on wiring other than changing like for like and checking colours.
When I turn ignition on the front light comes on but no back lights, could this be related?
Cheers
Steve

im gonna have to find a new connector block and wire them in properly. there must be a suitable item available somewhere ,, hopefully one where you cann assemble the wires to the terminals  and then push the terminals into the connector block. i have seen smaller versions on some boilers when wiring them in.

You should be able to get a replacement that fits from here https://www.vehiclewiringproducts.co.uk/ I used them to create a complete new harness for my KH250, including plugs and sockets that matched items I was reusing.
