Post by: Corascate on April 24, 2020, 05:43:18 PM
Hi
Can anybody tell me what the headlight brackets for the k7 should be like, I believe these are k6
But they look better than the clip ons which were fitted prior.
Cheers

There are two types for the K7. If it is a USA import then the headlight bracket has the indicator stem as part of the ear. If a UK or European unit then the indicator stem is a separate part. Thanks for that
The bike is a us bike but I would like to Britify it as much as is feasible.
Like eventually have the lights on a switch , and twin disc, but right now it’s getting everything working.
As for the headlight brackets I like the uk spec ones, ready for when I get the indicators.
Cheers trig for the info and part no’s.

Another thing on these brackets, there is what looks like a buzzer connected with two wires coming from it on the near side bracket

My 750F1 still has the indicator beeper fitted and active.

Is this not legal in the UK or just not recommended?
I must admit it is a bit annoying when sat at traffic lights etc waiting to turn.

Our Honda CD250u's have that fitted as well and it's never been an issue with MOT's ETC.

It is not illegegal, or even a sick parrot, it was a verbal request from service engineers to workshops asking us to request owners politely to let us dissconnect but not remove them to stop confusion at the time
