In my semi retired not working Friday working week, Thursday night is my Friday night - when my (non bike interested) wife and I go to my local for a few pints. 4 Pints later, I've just bought a CB500Four K1 from DK! My wife encouraged me to buy the bike 'if it makes you happy'. So I now have 6 bikes!
It is a nostalgic buy as my 2nd new Honda was a CB500Four K1 in August 71
Prepare yourselves for a lot of advice!
Love my misus to bits!!!!!

I like Mrs Wards style.....anything for a quiet life 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mmmm, 1971 K1 🤔🤔🤔🤔Are you sure it was only 4 pints Phil 😀😀😀😀

As long as its a 500Four Julie, it will do me! My 750 isn't to the letter of K2 but is close enough for me. I will no doubt find out its deficiencies via the forum over the next few years - and it was only 4 pints - I'm a light weight!

I was looking at that one on Ebay earlier Phil.....Good on you. Trig has LOADS of CB500/4 spares and sundries ....just in case you need them 🤣🤣🤣
-
Think it may be a K2?
-
You should stick to two pints Phil. Has a few K2 parts on that, like the clocks and ears ;)
-
Its close enough for me Graham - it will no doubt be a money pit I'm sure. Is the frame number a K2? (CB500-2118866)

Yes Phil, You are a proud new owner of a K2 ;)

Back to your youth Phil...what's that, 4 pints, a sherbet Dib Dab and a kebab on the way home 😂😂😂😂

Youth was bikes, bikes, bikes Julie - very little beer (very little now - thats why I'm a light weight!)

It's great that you are re living, or still living, your youth Phil. No point in just reminiscing and doing nowt about it, that's just boring and is no fun at all.
