I believe my 750F should have Matt black side panels,is that correct?
-
I'm sure someone on here will know but if not, send Menno a PM, he will know for sure about the USA colours.
-
Thanks Julie.Taking tank/seat for painting tomorrow. Will paint side panels myself if matt.
-
They are actually satin finish "ghost grey" on U.K. models, but most people settle for satin black.

Should have said it’s an American bike

Phantom Black, Honda code NH-43, Pic of NOS Panel. RS paints have it.

I think that I matched my side panels to Ford Graphite Grey from Halfords.

Thanks to all that replied.Opted for Phantom black in the end, should have it all painted by end of March😁 I have found a place that produces new side panels for £30 they’re in Warwick.I managed repair one of mine that was cracked thought I’d pass info on as this price is less than Silvers

If anyone does buy the 750F1/2 panels from LPM, make sure you drill the holes for the side panel badges BEFORE painting them, saves heartache later!

I think I will be picking up a left hand one for my F2. Having seen a few genuine ones on E-Bay for silly money, in poor condition to boot, I iwll go repro here.
Not going to pay £80 for a panel with splits, gouges and a load of damage.
-
I looked at them when at Stafford, mate of mine bought pair for a Superdream and they looked ok.I didn’t buy one as managed to repair crack in mine.
-
I bought some on e bay and repaired one of mine, but the ones from eBay took a lot of work to bring them up to standard, spent a long time sanding, in the end the pattern ones were the best way to go.

Miy panel had a crack at top in middle and when I took it off ( carefully ) it was cold and it cracked by one of the lugs.I’d bought some of that superglue sold at bike/car shows that sticks anything (especially O rings lol.😂😂 ) it worked great on the cracks and when I bought it I had some bonding powder included again this worked great and made a good bond reinforcing round the lug.[attachimg=1]

I've got a pair of their replica side panels on my 400f. Well made and good fit.👍
