My 1974 CB750 just failed its MOT numerous reasons, nothing happened when the right hand switch gear was set
to the 'P' position. I am under the assumption and as far as I'm aware it is a UK bike not US import,
should I have a seperate little parking light bulb in the headlight shell that turns on with the rear light
when set to 'P'?
I posted this question over on the US site http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=72708.0 (http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=72708.0)
Got a mixed response - but don't really have a clear idea yet, so thought I'd check here too.

Yes.
To pass the MOT, all fitted lights must work.
The P position is for "park" and should light the little (5W?) bulb in the headlamp as well as the rear light.

Thanks for clearing that up Steve, Just need to check the lamp I have has the hole for the small 5w bulb now.....
hopefully will be on the road again soon, the other fails were tiny just some loose bits that I didn't tighten properly
in a hurry..
