CB750 / BRAKES
« on: March 23, 2008, 08:35:33 PM »
Hi guys, just finished off rebuilding the 750.
New wheels, new paint-job, & hours & hours of polishing.
Took & passed MOT, took it on it's first run today (front brakes p**h)!

Does anybody know of an upgraded brake-pad i could use to improve my brakes?
I've already got good-ridge hoses on it.

Have uploaded a few of the latest photo's in the gallery, under 'Stevie's find'.

Kind regards
Stevie.

CB750 / CANDY GOLD
« on: January 27, 2008, 03:52:54 PM »
Hi there, going to get my tank re-painted.
My pal's a spray painter in the motor trade, does anyone
know what the equivalent colour in car paint would be, to match
Honda's Candy Gold?
Don't have a sample & i'm guessing at the shade through pictures.
cheers Stevie

cheers guys, that's a few pictures now on (Stevie's 750 find).

Took pictures from the sellers lock-up before i bought the bike.
Bought it as a non-runner, been lying a few years.
Seller said the bike was ok, so paid my money & took my chances.
Seen it has very good potential, got it home & got it running.
Engine running sweet, only problem is- it bangs into gear, think I've got sticky clutch plates, will have a look.
Have stripped it down for a major clean-up, then the rebuild begins.

Where's best for parts in the uk?
cheers Stevie
