Hi, I'm looking for the push throttle cable, pn 17920323000, for a 1973 500/4 K2, US spec.
Silvers don't do these, they do the pull cable, but not the push.
Thanks
Chris

Have you tried 4into1.com? I got some cables from them last year, good service.

It's because you don't need one.

Delta, We only just finished that discussion a while a go. Sure some will come in here. But certainly I've ridden loads of bikes that only ever had a pull.

PS I used the cheaper slinky ones and they fitted and performed fine

I think its a 'belt & braces' safety issue by Honda .. the original 750 sandcast had a tank design which sometimes snagged the cables and causde safely problems with the carbs sticking open, which would have been pretty scary. The tank profile underneath was quickly modified and the '28' stamped carb tops replaced under a recall then with the intro of the K1 (& K0 interim model) they went for linked carbs with a push pull arrangement, which carried to the 500/5500/400 fours and also the CB250/350 G series twins and later bikes like the CX500.

I have a friend that lives in a Florida who, fortunately is coming to the UK next week for a visit. I've asked him to bring me one.
Thanks for all your help.
