I've no experience of JMT so can't offer info either positive or negative (warning,  battery pun there) but I've been using the following

https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/273108006855?chn=ps&dispItem=1&adgroupid=48657126936&rlsatarget=pla-381661967025&abcId=1129916&adtype=pla&merchantid=7449214&poi=&googleloc=9045909&device=t&campaignid=973710387&crdt=0&ul_ref=http%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F710-134428-41853-0%252F2%253Fmpre%253Dhttps%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.ebay.co.uk%25252Fi%25252F273108006855%25253Fchn%25253Dps%252526dispItem%25253D1%2526itemid%253D273108006855%2526targetid%253D381661967025%2526device%253Dt%2526adtype%253Dpla%2526googleloc%253D9045909%2526poi%253D%2526campaignid%253D973710387%2526adgroupid%253D48657126936%2526rlsatarget%253Dpla-381661967025%2526abcId%253D1129916%2526merchantid%253D7449214%2526gclid%253DEAIaIQobChMImaTo4PGY2gIVqp3tCh3Gpw5UEAQYDCABEgLRCvD_BwE%2526srcrot%253D710-134428-41853-0%2526rvr_id%253D1485251396220

On which I've had no faults whatsoever. They are AGM ( absorbed glass matt) which other suppliers are calling "gel" so you have to make your own judgment on that.
Particularly impressive to me is their voltage retention in very low use,  also the oldest one I had on a diesel car lasted 11years!

I've switched over to AGM gel battery's but use Motobatt

Not cheap but well worth the money, everything seems to work well when using them, charging, starting, ignition, size of spark.

Ok just ordered a Motobatt.

Main reason is bike has recently become much harder to start after I noticed two of the cells in my non maintain Yuasa had dropped seriously low. Topped it up again and get ok cranking but wondering if voltage is dropping off during cranking and affecting the Boyer system I now have and thus poor starting now.

May be old fuel having not been used all winter but I hated that Yuasa battery anyway as the opaque case made it really hard to see the levels without taking it off the bike each time.

Anyway the Yuasa is 3 years old so probably due a change, can’t do any harm I am thinking

Regarding the price, they last that long they work out cheaper, I've just replaced one that was 8 years old.
