My thoughts too but he claims he just gets fobbed off when he rings them,I certainly would have been on to them straight away.Had a car insurance claimed settled within couple of weeks recently. Peter James Can’t Be beaten for my requirements,I have two garages 20 Miles apart that I use and they’re happy with that.

I had a run in with a jobsworth at DVLA,one of my bikes was 1registwred January 1st 1978 but it was on file that it was manufactured on December 1st 1978 obviously a mistake someone had entered wrong date.Jobsworth wouldn’t budge but I sorted it eventually and got it registered last year as a Historic Vehicle,as stated you HAVE to take V5 to post office to get Historic status and you’ll get it After 1st April year it qualifies

Mate of mine had an off on his almost new Harley last August. He’s insured with MCE and he still hasn’t got the bike back even though damage was minimal/easy to repair, when he gets it back he has to pay £1050 excess. So cheap insurance isn’t worth taking in my opinion.Just renewed my insurance with Peter James came down to £385 classic policy with old and modern bikes on,can’t beat that price with companies I’ve tried and I get European breakdown cover too.

Not too bothered by weight at moment, another bike I ride is a Hardley.Been looking at prices for a while and they vary and can indeed be high I would like a K7.Thought about a 650 but without riding one couldn’t say if it was as physically big as a 750.I’ve had both 650 and 750 sohc bikes in past.

Welcome to the forum, are you sure you wouldn't like a 400.
I loved the 400 when it was launched but was too small for me then lol. Riding a Hondamatic which I bought after having knee surgery and it’s bit too small,or am I just a fat ba*&£#d lol.
