OddJob,
I dont have any tension on the spring, thats my issue i believe. I get the tension when the pedal is pressed but when it returns the pedal is floppy as with the spring. Just thinking.........Do i need the footrest installed for it all to work properly, ie the peday return is stopped by the foot rest......i think this could be a Doh moment?

Hi,
i did look at some of the older post reference the rear brake return spring.
I'm sure mine is wrong as the spring does not have any tension. Please take a look at the pictures and tell me where i have gone wrong!
Thanks

Help again!
There seems to be a lot of 'extra' brake hose (see pictures) how does this route at the top? Also, assume the unions with teh bend attaches to the the brake 'thingy' with the brake switch?

had to cut my 1977 stand off.
I then tried to get the tube out by sawing through it, gave that up as I didn't have the patients for it. sourced a second-hand stand that was all freed upped, bought the new solid pin and installed that. jobs a goodin......less time sawing and swearing, more time drinking"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to be fare I always way up time taken versus buying something after time is money.
enjoy the sawing!

Hi,
having a bit of drama with bits n bobs on the Honda. So I've stopped working in the headlight and electrics as my little brain is confused.
I thought I would add the front brake hose assembly etc. Can someone take a picture of it attached to the forks (brake block that holds the switch) and just for comfort, around the caliper itself/
thanks in advance

i used my bench grinder using some abrasive disc's then a polishing mop with auto sol. They come up ok, I didn't plan to get all the large dents out.
